2020 brings a whole host of opportunities – most of them good, but not all!
In fact, there is something unique to 2020 that others could take as an opportunity to cause problems for you. And it comes down to signing and dating documents.
It’s incredibly important in 2020 to sign and date documents with the FULL date – 4 numbers for the year: 2020 and NOT just 20.
Putting just 20 for the year leaves you vulnerable…
If you write 07/01/20 somebody could easily change the date to 07/01/2017 (for instance). And now suddenly your signature is on an incorrect document, leaving you open to all sorts of legal and other issues!
So, when signing and dating any documentation, bills, notes, etc, in 2020 make sure to date them fully: DD/MM/YYYY.
